Art Therapy Group

$ TBD

This group helps artists reconnect with their creative practice through emotional exploration and community support. Using sketchbooks, diverse materials, and guided prompts, participants engage in both artistic expression and emotional processing. It’s an ideal space for those with a creative background—whether visual artists, writers, or musicians—seeking to move through creative blocks and reignite inspiration.

My Approach

I work from a depth psychotherapy perspective, drawing on training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and my ongoing studies in Reichian character analysis with Peter Moore. Additionally my approach is informed by a deep interest in expressive arts and somatic awareness therapies.

My work often includes attention to the body and breath, especially when words alone can’t quite reach the core of an experience.

When helpful, I incorporate creative practices, trusting that image, movement, and felt sensation can offer powerful entry points for transformation. Whether we’re exploring relational dynamics, identity, grief, trauma, or early life experiences, I aim to support clients in reconnecting with their aliveness and inner knowing.

About me

Born and raised in the misty woods of Humboldt County, I grew up in a geodesic dome on a llama farm, surrounded by trees and curiosity. Friendship is a guiding compass, and dogs, my constant companions.

I feel at home in the woods—through backpacking, bikepacking, or simple walks—and the quiet joy of creating, whether through printmaking, baking cupcakes, or piecing together my first quilt. Campfires are my favorite stage for late-night conversations, and audiobooks keep me company when the world feels loud.

With a degree in studio arts, I’m always drawn to what I can make with my hands. My life feels like a patchwork of simple joys and meaningful connections, stitched together one day at a time.
